We recently paid homage to the time honored craft of Papier-mâché (French for "chewed paper"), to give the mannequins used in our displays a better, vintage feel. Also known as découpage, this classic process involves creating or covering an object with a simple adhesive and the paper of your choice - in this case, vintage fashion magazines from Italy!
|Amanda starts by selecting interesting bits of pictures and text, and cutting them into thin strips.|

|Arrange the pieces, let them dry, add a coat or two of clear shellack, and you're done!|
