Kate Merrick is the co-owner of Channel Islands Surfboards, alongside her husband, Britt Merrick. She’s an accomplished author, a world-traveler, and a savant in the kitchen. Raised in Laguna Beach, CA, Kate spent her teenage years in Carpinteria, CA, where she met Britt. Today, they live in Carpinteria on a beautiful farmhouse property surrounded by wildlife, Kate’s stunning garden, and an avocado orchard. Their vibrant daughter, Fifi, and two playful barn cats complete their lively home. Kate is truly one of the most inspiring people we've had the pleasure of meeting, and we’re honored to feature her in our series In The Studio With.
