Today we are pleased to introduce our new East Coast Seea Rep, Rachel Leah Burt. Currently residing near the beaches of Manasquan, NJ, Leah grew up in Jersey and travelled the world, only to decide that "42 degrees with a chance of rain" still means home... Welcome to the real Jersey Shore!
Sounds a little cold by California standards, but it hasn't always been that way for Leah. Starting with a trip to Costa Rica at 18, travel and exploring new cultures soon became Leah's way of life.
Particularly drawn to Latin cultures, Leah lived in both Spain and Portugal, before joining the non-profit "Surfing the Nations", where she got the chance to explore the surf and culture of China.
Topping it off with a degree in International Business, Leah moved to Hawaii to finish up her studies before returning to the Jersey Shore.
Inspired by the ocean and beach, Leah enjoys making crafts and jewelry from her post-session beach finds, while enjoying the music, food, and language of the many places she's been.
