Kirra Innes - Nature Lover in Oz
Lives in: Wooloweyah on the east coast of Australia
Home Breaks: Back Angourie in the summer because of the northerly winds, and Spooky Bay in winter because of the south winds.
Seea Quiver: The Leucadia "Cute, comfortable and functional. I feel really confident in it. It has this class about it and definitely tops the list of my favorite Seea number." The Capitola because "every girl loves a cute kini that stays in place."
Passions: Gardening, yoga. "My grandmother worked in a nursery and I used to go to work with her most days. Play in the dirt, real kid stuff. I've started to get into yoga as well. Surfing can be such a tough sport on your body and I'm feeling it help a lot through mind and body."
Surf Rituals: “I can normally tell if the surf is going to be good when I look out my bedroom window. An indicator would be no wind then I get excited. If I'm not working I'll normally stay at the beach all day surfing and exploring. I don't really have a normal routine, every day is different for me so I just go with the flow. I'm an all kinds of music girl weather it's Bob, Led Zep or Jack Johnson depending on how I'm feeling I like my old school stuff of instrumental. When I'm choosing a board I want it to feel nice it has to be soft to touch nice rails and the right weight for size. I like my logs. Rolled bottom, pinched rails nice and heavy. A glider, nice trim — trim can be everything.”
